The Ministry is working to launch new flights. For example, from March 2024, Air Asia intends to launch direct scheduled passenger flights between Kuala Lumpur and Almaty with a frequency of 4 flights per week, as well as in the Almaty-Jeddah direction with a frequency of 2 times.

- Based on the results of this year, there is a positive trend in the implementation of these measures. Applications from entrepreneurs worth more than 800 million tenge were approved throughout the country (for the construction of tourist facilities, roadside service facilities, equipment for ski resorts, tour buses), which is 7 times more than last year,” noted Ermek Marzhikpayev.

In Almaty, in 2023, the construction of an eco-hotel with a restaurant complex “Qazaq Auyl” (Kazak Auyl), a hotel “Grand Mildom” and a children’s camp “Medeu camp” was completed. Construction of 6 objects is underway: the Parkside Living apart-hotel, the Medeu Park Hotel hotel complex, the Kimasar hotel, 3 hotels in the Turksib district, and Park Dedeman Almaty, which are scheduled for completion in 2024. After the reporting meeting, the minister held a personal reception, where he also answered questions from citizens and listened to their problems and suggestions.
