Alexander Vinokurov is an Honored Master of Sports of Kazakhstan.

Ermek Marzhikpayev: Met with the Honored Master of Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan in cycling, champion of the Olympic Games in London Alexander Vinokurov. Our famous athlete continues to develop domestic sports, in particular his native cycling. Since 2013, he has been the general manager of the Astana Cycling Team.

During the meeting, Alexander told us about the results and future plans for the development of the domestic cycling team. The leaders of the national cycling team are representatives of this team. Therefore, we discussed together individual plans for training cyclists who will defend the country’s honor at the Olympic Games this summer.

At the end of the meeting, I presented Alexander with the honorary title of Honored Trainer of Kazakhstan. He, in turn, promised to go to Paris with the national team in the summer. I think his experience and support will help our athletes perform well at the main competition of the four years.
