At the international four continents speed skating tournament in Salt Lake City, the RK team took second place in the team sprint discipline.

According to the Committee on Sports and Physical Culture, the following spoke for Kazakhstan: Evgeniy Koshkin, Nikita Vazhenin, Altai Zhardembekuly and Artur Galiev.

The Canadians were the first. The third are representatives of South Korea.

In total, 76 athletes from 8 countries take part in the competition.
